The transformer is made to take US plug shapes and then plug into aussie points with the transformer plug - it converts the operating voltage on the Magic Wand so it will operate in australia. The Medisil Magic Touch is rated for australian voltage and does not require a transformer. Ultimately, a product made for your local voltage will be safer to use.
